Privacy Policy
Last updated: October 5, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains what information Vermont Lifestyle (vermontlifestyle.com, “the site”, “we”) collects when you visit, how it is used and the choices you have. The site is an informational website about fabric scrap projects. You can read every guide without creating an account or giving us any personal information.
Information you give us
Contact form. When you send a message through the Contact page, we receive the name, email address, subject and message you enter. The form sends your message as an email to the site administrator; the website itself does not keep an archive of messages. To limit automated abuse, the form keeps a count of recent submissions tied to a scrambled (hashed) version of the sender’s IP address for about an hour. We use this information only to read and reply to your message. Please do not include sensitive personal information in the form.
The site does not offer visitor accounts, a comment section or a newsletter, and it does not sell products.
Information collected automatically
Server logs. Like most websites, the server that hosts the site may record technical information for each request, such as IP address, browser type, the page requested and the date and time. This information is used to keep the site secure and working, and to diagnose technical problems.
Cookies. The site uses only the functional cookies that WordPress, the software it runs on, needs. They are described in our Cookie Policy.
How we use information
- To reply to messages sent through the contact form.
- To operate, protect and maintain the site.
We do not sell personal information, and we do not use it to make automated decisions about you.
Analytics and advertising
At the date of this policy, the site does not use analytics services and does not show advertising. If that changes, this policy and the Cookie Policy will be updated to say which services are used and what choices you have.
Links to other websites
Some pages may link to external websites. Those sites have their own privacy policies, and we are not responsible for their content or practices.
How long we keep information
Messages sent through the contact form are kept only for as long as needed to handle your request and for a reasonable period afterwards. Server logs are kept for a limited time, according to the hosting provider’s retention settings.
Your choices and rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to ask for access to the personal information we hold about you, to ask for it to be corrected or deleted, or to object to certain uses. To make a request, contact us through the Contact page. We may need to verify your identity before acting on a request.
You can also control cookies through your browser settings, as described in the Cookie Policy.
Children’s privacy
The site publishes craft guides that families may use together, but it is intended to be used by adults or under adult supervision. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has sent us personal information through the contact form, please let us know and we will delete it.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the site changes. The date at the top of the page shows when it was last revised.
